Well, since this is my first post, I figure I should wish you joyous salutations, and introduce myself. My name is Ashtyn, last name Friday, and no, that's not a joke, as one might speculate. Ashtyn Friday. I love my parents and my brother. Yes, I am a teenager, and I love my family. A wee bit refreshing, is it not? I do most of my writing and composition of all sorts in a little coffee shop some of you may have heard of, called Peet's. I might spend more time here than in my lovely abode.
I love fashion as well. If we must dress in clothing, then why not fully embrace it and have fun with it? I have recently been falling in love with the color combination of yellow and blue. So, if anyone sees a good denim oxford shirt, be sure to let me know! ;)
More than fashion, I love the culinary arts. What girl does not like food, even if it is a secret? My love for food may take a small step further, as I aspire to be a restaurant owner and executive chef. My love for food may (will) leak onto my blog.
So far, I feel like my country side has not come out, but it is subtle. I am a California girl through and through, but I adore my dear country music, bull riding, (although, video games have been known to tear me away from such things as watching bull riding with my dear momma) and I WILL get a pair of cowboy boots. I promise. (Fashion and country collide.)
I am kind and very honest, but not brutally so. I am straightforward. I hope you enjoy that sort of thing.
The most important of my loves, is Jesus. I am a proud Christian. I believe in and love Him with all my heart. He died for me, and all He ever asked for was for me. He has all of me.
Maybe an introductory blog isn't necessarily "blogging kosher." Yet, it pleases me to do so, so I have. I hope you follow me on my blogging journey, my lovely blogging friends.
